Why the name critter quitter

We could have called them Avalon Vent Shields, but in truth they do stop animals from tearing up your flashing causing roof leaks, and they have a screen on top that keeps animals out of your plumbing and your toilets. Since they stop critters two ways, we chose critter quitter.
