Starting to Rain

Winter is about over here in Florida and the rest of the South. This means squirrels are going to become active and its going to start raining. You should check your vents to see if they have been chewed during the winter. Its easy, if you have lead flashing the white PVC pipe will stick out of the lead and you can see the chewed part easily. However, sometimes you need to go on the roof to see the damage, squirrels often just chew the top where you cant see it from the ground. Regardless, installing Critter Quitters will protect the vent or repair it if its been chewed.
