Solar Panels and Reflashing

Many these days are installing solar panels for power or hot water. This is a great idea as it takes advantage of the free heat or light from our sun. However, sometimes these panels are placed on either side of a plumbing vent. If this vent is chewed up, reflashing will be a problem as the roofer has to remove the shingles which are under the panels. A better solution is to install Critter Quitters. They stop the leak and don’t require any removal of shingles. Plus they match the panels very nicely.
