The rainy season has arrived with a vengeance. If you have a leaking vent it can be a large leak. This is a picture of a vent that has been torn open. As you can see, the opening between the outside of the pipe and the inside of the flashing is quite large. This water goes directly into your roof decking in the best case, and into your attic or ceiling worst case. Don’t let that happen, if you see torn lead get some Critter Quitters and fix your vent before damage can be done.
