If you have an older home or a commercial building, you may have the old fashoned 4 and 5 inch vents. We are one of the few companies that make a vent shield for these. They are custom, so let us know if you need one and we can get the information we need to make one....

We use 304 (18-8) anodized stainless steel screws for our CQs. It was brought to our attention that these were magnetic and therefore not stainless. We test our screws for magnetism, but we accept a small amount of magnetism as part of the screw maching process....

You dont have to have a damaged vent to install a CQ to protect it. A CQ simply slides over existing flashing and doesnt penentrate the vent, so there is no trimming necessary Makes the roof look better also. So consider protecting your new roof and buy some CQs.
