I had someone call that said they did not think their roof was leaking even though his vents were obviously chewed. Here is the fact, if you have a damaged vent its leaking. It has to, because there is a gap between the flashing and the outside of the vent. You will not likely see it because unless its a torrential storm the water is likely just soaking down the plywood decking under the shingles. But over a roofs life,15-20 years, that plywood will rot away and when the home is re-shingled, that decking will have to be replaced which will cost thousands of dollars potentially. We had a woman buy several of our Size M units for large vents because her roof was damaged to the tune of 10,000 dollars. Decking and rafters were damaged. So you may not see the damage, but its there. A few hundred dollars worth of Critter Quitters will stop further damage, and if you have undamaged vents will stop them from becoming damaged.
