Flashing Requirements

We had an enquiry the other day asking do you need the lead flashing if you use a critter quitter.
Yes, you need either lead or rubber flashing to seal the vent to the roof. The critter quitter simply protects this flashing from damage from squirrels and keeps other animals out of your plumbing. It does not seal the vent, that is a function of our next product coming out soon.
