Critter Quitters are Vent Repairs, not Replacemetn Flashing

We get calls occasionally from people that ask can Critter Quitters be used to seal their vents. No, they can not. They require a sealing flashing such as lead or rubber grommet to seal the vent. Critter Quitters simply are a shield that protects the vent from damage and drops rain water into the vent to keep a damaged vent from leaking. So you have to have a flashing in place to use a Critter Quitter, but once you put the Critter Quitter on it will last years.
