Yesterday we finally got some warm weather combined with the availability of our roofer! He removed the ss mesh and installed the Critter Quitters without any problems. He advised we still had plenty (1-2″) of good integrity lead flashing around the bottom of the vents.
I sincerely thank you for all your assistance and patience with my numerous questions and concerns.
Andrew, one side comment to share: Way back when I originally explained the CQ to him by phone plus sending him your brochure, the roofer indicated he was totally un-familiar with them and kept promoting neoprene. Yesterday when he actually saw the CQ’s he exclaimed “oh, I’ve seen and installed these before – they’re great.”
