How much lead is needed to use a CQ

Critter Quitters will stop leaks coming from rain water leaking through damaged flashing, but they have to have some flashing left at the roof line. So you need at least an inch of intact lead around the base of the vent at the roof line. If the squirrels have chewed your flashing down to the roof you need new flashing immediately because you have a major leak. And once you get the flashing replaced, buy some Critter Quitters to protect it.
