We did this vent shield the other day. Its a short modification. Came out very nice. Remember, we can make short ones if you specify this in the instructions upon ordering, but we dont offer refunds for custom work.

We use stainless steel cross headed screws to mount our shields. They are painted black on the heads so they blend with the shield color. They do not rust and will grip the lead and plastic vent pipe

Some have ordered and want to know if they can be painted. Critter Quitters come in flat black because this universally fits most roofs. They are painted with 4 coats of paint and are made of black plastic so if the paint wears off over the years they will stay black....
