CQs are painted with a 25 year latex paint that should give years of protection before requiring repainting. However, you can paint them any color you desire via spray paint or latex. We only supply flat black as this matches most roofs.

Many have asked if they can caulk the unit to the roof. This is entirely OK as long as its not a glue thats going to make the unit stick. Remember, these are designed for easy removal by plumbers or other home maintenance people. If they are glued on, they cannot...

We now have a 4 inch vent shield for those that have older homes. We call it the Mondo because its very large. Now its not cheap, it retails for 65 dollars. But it will work fine. If you want one either Email us at the "get info" tab or give us a call at 407-808-2501

We have had problems getting the stainless steel screws we were using in quanties that we need now, so we have switched to an anodized black steel screw. This should provide equal service.
