If you can walk it easily, assuming its not flat, a standard critter quitter will work fine. If its too dangerous to walk, then you may need to order a custom pitch, and have a pro install them.

An interesting observation. In high snow areas the vent pipes are sealed with rubber, as its not exposed to sunlight in great quantities, and they are very tall to clear snow. CQs are really not designed for use in these areas since rubber flashing isnt attacked by...

Remember just because we take time off for the rest of the year, squirrels dont. They do slow down, but they dont stop. Its easier to work on a roof when its a bit cool vs blazing hot.
