Since the internal parts of our shields do not penentrate the vent, there is no need to trim the lead flashing away, so they can be used on new non-damaged vents to protect them from future squirrel damage, while at the same time eliminating that ugly lead oxide...

Here is a comment from a customer that traded in a B unit for one of our custom M units for older homes with large vents. Installed the replacement vent today, fits well, looks good.
