Its rainy season in the South. Lots of heavy rain. You would be amazed how much water a torn vent will let into your attic. But if you look at the attached picture, you can see how large the gap between the outside of the vent pipe and the inside of the flashing is. That goes directly into your attic and your roof decking .You may not see it, but its rotting your wood every time it rains. Don’t let this happen, get some Critter Quitters and repair the vent.
