Plumbing Vents and Frogs

Its starting to warm up in Florida, and the frogs are starting to show up. We had a customer call us yesterday and said she had several frogs in her vent and didn’t know what to do, if she put on a Critter Quitter it would trap them inside, but didn’t know if they would leave. In this case the best thing to do is wait till early morning and then install the Critter Quitter while before the sun barely comes up, assuming you can do it safely. The frogs come out at night and if you can keep them from getting back in that’s fine. But if you cant do that, then trap them in the vent. The worst that can happen to you is you get a few in the toilet. The frogs aren’t so lucky.
