Very good product; easy to install; solved my problem. However, considering that they are 100% plastic, the price of $30 each seems a bit too high.
Critter Quitters were developed to provide an inexpensive way for the home owner to repair their vents. The question really is not the price of the unit, but how much do the alternatives cost. Your have better things to do than pull shingles and replace flashings, roofers are about 150 a vent minimum, handymen are fickle about roof work. Critter Quitters are only 30 dollars each and they are easy to install.
