This is a picture of a product called a Bullet Boot. Its basically a lead flashing made of rubber. Some roofing companies have taken to them. They are quite thin, and if a rodent takes a bite there isn’t much to stop it from tearing a hole in it. If you look at the base on the right this is what has happened. This was covered by Critter Quitters to stop further attack, but they will need to have their flashings replaced to stop the leak caused by this hole.
